hi!!! well heres the latest .... its dedicated to all my fellow grad students here in the usa who know what goes on beneath that rosy picture of us that is painted bak home!!! the struggle to meet deadlines... the midnite walks.. the endless outings... the meet ups to finish pending work.. the frantic calls to find out whos completed how much...! everything...! of course the fun factor always finds its own way.. but theres something that we are always up against !!! read on need not say more......!!!
The One Dreaded Evil
They say evil has many faces;
Think I jus saw one!
But the reason why I could, was known to me;
Deep within I saw it coming;
Though never did I care;
After all did it matter that much?
Cos it comes despite all the despair!
This face of evil , one known yet unknown!
Keeps popping with forseen alarms;
It doesnt give me a chance to run;
Efforts to hide are put to rest!
It destroys my mind; It causes great pain;
Yet I gotto fight; one which I gotto win!
Winning or loosing aint in my hands,
But i strive to give my best!
Alas! swinging minds blow me away from the battlefield;
To a place so heavenly n divine;
I loitred around in a state of bliss;
the chance to fight this way i missed;
the fight was still on I had forgotten;
Time was gone to fight again;
I stood defeated conquered by the evil;
bringing with it a state of gloom;
I thought to myself; maybe next time;
Ill prepare n fight the oncoming doom;
But then i found; evil but has many faces after all;
they came in a group this time;
I stood defeated again;
almost out of my mind;
I said aloud ; its of no use;
next i shall not fight;
Ill just give in; whatever be my plight;
The evil was far too strong; it conquered one and all;
Still; in a land far away from home; often screams are heard;
Oh No! here comes the face of evil;
Its called an Assignment!
ps : U cud also replace assignment with Midterms ;) or well thts yet another face of evil !
